YOU’VE BEEN DISTANT LATELY
Director, Editor / 2024

Description:
A lonely man is startled when a flickering projection of a woman begins appearing around his room. Though he knows she isn’t real, he chooses to embrace the illusion for as long as she stays.

Info:
Created for NYU’s Sight & Sound: Filmmaking class, exploring my assigned prompt: “Lighting for Movement” in a one-shot take. This piece was heavily inspired by Karman Verdi’s experimental photography. More specifically, his use of a projector as both a character & light source. Edited to  "fell asleep with a vision" & "nail i couldn't bite" by Spirit of the Beehive.

Recognition:
Voted & Showcased in NYU’s Annual Winterfest (2024)
Acknowleged & Liked by Karman Verdi
Recognized by the band, Spirit of the Beehive
